How many pieces of evidence do I need to share for the completion of a badge?

Each badge requires that you upload one photographic piece of evidence that you worked on the badge. This can be a shot of a finished project, or a picture of you working on one of the badge requirements. In lieu of a photograph, a badge may require you to upload a short essay instead. This is noted in the list of badge requirements.
